Storytelling Workshop (Full Day) develops essential persuasive skills to enable participants to anticipate and meet audiences' needs while working to enhance or change their understanding and opinion of issues or situations. Ideally, participants have already been through the Media Skills or Public Speaking Workshop, so they are familiar with media techniques and messaging.

Media Skills Workshop (Full Day) introduces participants to working with media in a variety of situations. Introduces essential media management skills and techniques, while providing individual feedback and tutorial through filmed practice and examples. While this is a standalone workshop, prior experience with key messaging is always welcome.

Public Speaking and Presentation Skills Workshop (Full Day) focuses on preparing participants for a variety of public speaking and presentation opportunities. Participants will learn how to deliver informative and persuasive messages by practicing effective verbal and nonverbal delivery techniques well suited to different occasions, and geared for specific audiences. While this is a standalone workshop, prior experience with media skills and key messaging is always welcome.

The Key Messaging Workshop (Half Day) delivers critical messaging skills, enabling participants to develop effective key messaging while understanding how to implement and support messaging through use of the Key Message House template. This is a stand-alone course; no prior experience is required. However, this would be a good next step for participants who have completed the Issues Management and Governance Workshop.

The Issues Management and Governance Workshop (2 hours) develops strong issues management practices, including the development of robust Issues and Answers documentation and effective governance. The focus is on document governance and institutional memory. Ensure consistent understanding and messaging throughout organizations. This is a stand-alone course, no prior experience required.

Essential Communications Strategies and Media Skills (Full Day) interactive workshop, where participants will be better informed about the implementation and application of communications and public affairs concepts and best practice models. Engage in discussions facilitated by a senior practitioner and enhanced by short video segments from those operating at the frontline. Participants learn from practical exercises and real-life case studies, which are developed as learning tools. This workshop updates communications and public affairs practitioners on best practice approaches to media engagement, highlighting opportunities and pitfalls, while creating awareness of integrated media strategies that deliver results and develop lasting relationships with media contacts.
